Does the app need an internet connection while controlling Blender?

The local control session uses the local network. Internet is still needed for downloads, first-run dependency installation, and license verification.

Why can I browse the web but not connect to Blender?

Internet access does not guarantee local device-to-device access. Check the same LAN, firewall, VPN, and router isolation guidance in Connection Troubleshooting.

Can I use my Version 1 Gumroad purchase with Version 2?

Eligible Gumroad permanent licenses are valid for Versions 1 and 2. See Gumroad Permanent License.

Is streaming required?

No. Streaming is an optional live preview; the UDP control bridge works separately. See Live Blender Camera Preview.
