Install the Blender Add-on

The Blender add-on is the local bridge between the Android client and the open Blender scene. Install the official ZIP directly in Blender, then wait for the first-run dependency check to finish.

Install from the ZIP

Download the official add-on ZIP from Gumroad.
Keep the ZIP file intact.
Open Blender and drag the ZIP onto the Blender interface.
Confirm the installation prompt.
If drag-and-drop is unavailable, use Blender Preferences and install or enable the extension from the ZIP.
Open a 3D Viewport, open the sidebar, and select the Camera Controller tab.

First-Run Dependencies

On the first run, the add-on can show Installing Dependencies with progress and the current module. This prepares optional streaming and crop tools.

Wait until the add-on reports completion.
Keep Blender open until installation is done.
On macOS, allow the first installation to finish before closing Blender.
Do not try to start streaming while dependencies are still being installed.

The control server and streaming dependencies are different

The add-on server bridge is the connection used by the Android app. Streaming has additional optional dependencies and can become available after installation finishes.

Verify the Installation

The Camera Controller sidebar should show its logo, Control Mode selector, and a Server Stopped section. If it does not, see Add-on Installation Troubleshooting.
