Install the Android App

Install Blender Camera Controller only from the official Google Play or Gumroad pages. This protects updates, purchase verification, and compatibility with the Blender add-on.

Official Sources

Do not use modified APKs

Unofficial, repackaged, or modified Android packages can fail license verification and are not supported.

First Launch

Open the app.
Read and accept the terms when prompted.
Check the Connection screen support row. It reports Rotation Sensor and ARCore World Tracking availability for this device.
Allow camera permission when you want to scan a Blender connection QR code or use World Tracking.
Open Settings if you want to choose the app language, display preferences, or licensing method.

Purchases and Registration

The app does not use a separate username-and-password account login.

Google Play access is associated with the Google account that purchases a prepaid plan.
Gumroad access is registered in the app with the purchase email and Plus license key.

Read Demo and Plus Access before choosing a purchase path. Existing Gumroad Version 1 purchasers can use their eligible permanent license with Version 2; see Gumroad Permanent License.
