Your First Camera Session

Use this short exercise to verify the complete connection, motion, timeline, and recording workflow before a production take.

Prepare Blender

  1. Create or select a camera in the Blender scene.
  2. Set it as the active camera.
  3. Start the add-on server in Camera mode.
  4. Connect the Android app.

Make a Test Move

  1. Select the active camera from the camera selector in the Controls screen.
  2. Enable Rotation Sensor control and hold the phone in your preferred starting orientation.
  3. Tap Reset Rotation to set a clean reference.
  4. Enable Walk if you want forward, side, and vertical motion.
  5. Move slowly and confirm that Blender responds.

Set the Timeline

Use the Timeline and Playback bar to set a short frame range and FPS. Swipe horizontally across the timeline area to scrub the current Blender frame.

Record and Review

  1. Enable the countdown timer in Settings if you need time to prepare.
  2. Tap Record and make a short movement.
  3. Tap Stop, then wait for Baking to finish.
  4. Play the timeline in Blender or in the app.
