Timeline, Frames, FPS, and Playback

The timeline bar keeps the app synchronized with Blender's scene range, current frame, playback state, and FPS.

Move Through Time

Swipe horizontally anywhere across the timeline area to scrub the current Blender frame. A vertical drag is ignored so normal screen movement does not accidentally scrub the timeline. Use previous/next frame for single-frame changes and first/last frame to jump to the range boundaries.

Set Frame Range and FPS

Tap Start, Current, or End to edit that frame. You can type a value or use the minus and plus controls. If a new Start is after End, or a new End is before Start, the app adjusts the matching range boundary to keep a valid range.

Tap FPS to choose a frame rate. Available selections include common cinematic, broadcast, and high-frame-rate values such as 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, 60, 120, and 240.

Playback and Keyframes

Use reverse play, play, and pause to control playback. Previous/next keyframe jumps between relevant keys. Expand the center panel to access keyframe actions, including insertion and deletion where the active mode supports them.

During recording and baking, the timeline color changes to reflect the active state. For the recording workflow, see Recording and Baking. For Blender-side tools, see Blender Timeline and Playback.
