Camera Mode and Object Mode

Choose the Blender add-on control mode before starting the server. Both modes use the same Android control surface, but they apply movement to different Blender targets.

Camera Mode

Camera mode controls the active Blender camera. It supports camera rotation, position, walk controls, World Tracking, focal-length zoom, recording, baking, and camera keyframe tools. It is the normal choice for virtual cinematography.

See Camera Control Mode and Cameras and Zoom.

Object Mode

Object mode controls a selected object relative to a reference camera. Select the controlled object and reference camera before starting the server. Object mode supports motion, recording, keyframes, smoothing, and optional Drive Mode with steering controls.

See Object Control Mode.

Important Difference

The app's zoom control maps to a camera focal length in Camera mode. Object mode does not use zoom in the same camera-specific way. Stop the server before switching modes.
